Join The Watson Players
The continued success of The Watson Players depends on its Members and Friends.
Members
We are always looking for new members of all ages to work in set design and construction, properties, wardrobe, make up, front of house, fundraising, promotion/publicity, admin and, of course, potential Oscar winning actors.
Benefits of membership include:
· Regular newsletters keeping you in touch with all Watson Players news
· Details of all social events and theatre trips
· A chance to make new friends
· Doing your bit to keep live theatre ‘alive’ in Derby
· Feeling involved with your local community
Becoming a Member
If you are interested in joining the society as a member please contact the Secretary. We can then make arrangements for you to attend a rehearsal night. If you are still interested in joining after your visit then we will give you an application form which will then be passed to the committee.
2024/25 subscription prices
£50 for 12 months
Concessionary - £30 for 12 months

Friends
Those who wish to support us but cannot give the commitment required by full membership may be interested in becoming a ‘Friend of The Watson Players’.
Friends receive the following:
· A copy of the Society’s monthly newsletter
· Priority booking with members for most productions.
· A warm welcome at all social events and meetings (but not an entitlement to vote)
